How to start tracking


  1. Download and install the iTimeTrack plugin for your editor
  2. Copy/paste your API key from the settings page into the plugin settings or to the .itimetrack.cfg file in your home directory
  3. In the editor, open a file or project, and make modifications to a file and save the changes
  4. Go to the iTimeTrack manual sync page, and click the "Start Sync" button, to retrieve the newest data from the server
  5. Goto your history screen and you can see the files you just modified
  6. Create rules to automatically assign file history to a matching project
